Farm holiday in the Dolomites

Your “holid-hay” home

As comfy as a hotel, as cosy as a hay barn – discover our apartments in the Dolomites and treat yourself to a farm holiday with a difference.

Gentle rolling hills, thick woodland and the cragged peaks of the Dolomites on the horizon. The mountain village of Antermoia-Passo delle Erbe might look like something straight from a fairy tale, but it’s real. More than real: it’s authentic. And while it is well away from busy tourist resorts, it offers easy access to all the local attractions.
In the heart of this natural idyll, at an altitude of 1,650 m, sits La Majun – our apartment house inspired by the style of a modern mountain barn. Wood, natural materials and thoughtfully integrated hay elements create a warm and distinctive atmosphere.
Step inside our holiday apartments and savour the heavenly scent of dried Alpine herbs. Breathe, feel, unwind. If you’re looking for a truly special farm holiday in the Dolomites, you’ll find a place of peace, nature and authentic alpine charm with us.

La Majun

There’s no better way to hit the hay

In Ladin, our native language, “La Majun” means “barn”. There is a good reason why we choose this name: our eco-friendly holiday apartments have the cosy atmosphere of a real barn. Natural materials such as wood and carefully selected hay elements create a warm and cosy atmosphere. La Majun is a natural retreat tucked away in natural surroundings, where the inspiring scent of hay sets the tone for a unique holiday experience.

We and our farm

All hands on deck

Mountains teach us the importance of sticking together. Ours is a tight-knit community, and in our family everyone pulls their weight. Grandpa Bino takes care of the stable and Granny Annamaria always keeps an eye on everything happening around the farm. Helmut, who loves wood, works as a carpenter while his wife Kathrin looks after the house, the farm and the whole family. And the three children Hanna, Niklas and Julian… well, they keep everybody on their toes!

Our animals

Life All Around Us

Our cows spend the summer grazing on the lush mountain meadows surrounding the farm. Our hens provide fresh eggs, while rabbits and quails delight guests of all ages. The farm cat enjoys lounging in her favourite sunny spot. Children especially love spending time with the animals and are welcome to help bring the cows in from the pasture to the barn in the evening.
