In winter, the landscape around our farm dons its most pristine cloak. We absolutely love this time of year, and we are sure you will, too. So, wrap up warm and set off to explore this white paradise! The “Paisc da Nadé” Christmas market in San Cassiano is the place to be if you want to soak up the Christmas spirit – you can browse locally made handicrafts while listening to Christmas music performed by choirs and musicians from the area.
Unlimited skiing
Snow-capped peaks and beautiful ski slopes as far as the eye can see. The nearby ski lift (2km away) takes you to the practice slope – the ideal choice for children and families. From Piccolino, you can take the cable car to the Plan de Corones ski resort, while the Alta Badia ski resort is just a 20-minute shuttle ride away: take advantage of it and treat yourself to a day on the world-famous Sellaronda ski tour! With 250 km of pistes to choose from, sunny skies and jaw-dropping panoramas, what more could you wish for?
Altitude cross-country skiing
A leisurely cross-country ski circuit where all that matters is being there: at an altitude of 2,000 m, the Passo delle Erbe cross-country trail negotiates its way through a dream landscape. Cross-country skiing away from the hustle and bustle of the pistes is a pleasure for the body and soul. Whether you prefer the classic or skating style, you’re in for an unforgettable treat.
When fun goes “downhill”
There’s nothing like a toboggan ride to bring back childhood memories! From the Passo delle Erbe pass, the Börz toboggan run takes you downhill to our farm through the woods at the foot of Mt. Sass de Putia. An insider tip: the best time for a ride is at night when there is a full moon, with the stars (and a headlamp) to light up the way. You can hire the toboggans right here at our farm.
A sea of icy diamonds
All you hear is the snow crunching softly under your feet. Every now and then, you can spot the trail left by a mountain hare. If you need a break from the bustling ski area, you can choose from a number of well-maintained hiking trails around the Passo delle Erbe pass… and stop by at an Alpine hut along the way for a tasty snack.
Untrodden ways
Be the first to set foot in the pristine snow: start directly from your holiday apartment and go ski touring on soft powder snow. Fantastic views are included! Do you prefer snowshoeing? Let us know: we’ll be delighted to lend you the equipment.
For ice princesses and little mermaids
Spin, jump or just glide leisurely across the ice… the only thing that matters is having fun. The ice hall in Corvara (open all year) and the ice rink in San Vigilio are beloved haunts for ice skaters of all ages and skills. If you would rather stay warm, visit the Cron4 water park in Riscone and enjoy several indoor pools and a vast sauna area.

Biathlon World Championship
Every year, Anterselva hosts an international event: the biathlon world championship. Hit the stadium and watch the world’s best biathletes compete, their feats accompanied by the enthusiastic cheering of spectators. The atmosphere is simply glorious. By the way… did you know that Anterselva is set to be the venue of the 2026 Winter Olympics?
