Walking in a land of legend
Once upon a time, the Passo delle Erbe pass area was inhabited by mythical creatures. Walk in their tracks on the beautiful hiking trails winding around the Peitlerkofel massif and the Odle di Funes mountains. Start from our farm and follow the gentle ups and downs that will take you across alpine meadows dotted with gentians, rhododendrons and edelweiss in bloom. Challenge the Peitlerkofel: climb up to the mountain top and enjoy the sweeping view over the Rodengo/Luson Alp, one of South Tyrol’s largest high alpine pastures. And if you are looking for a great family hike, then try the Woody Walk trail on Mt. Plose, which has a number of children’s play areas along the route.
A climber’s paradise
The Dolomites are an undisputed paradise, attracting throngs of climbers from all over the world. From the Sass Rigais to the Piz Boé and Pisciadú, these stone giants with their overhanging rocks and spectacular climbing routes extend a tantalising invitation. Extreme mountaineer Reinhold Messner discovered his passion for climbing right here on Mt. Sass de Putia. There is also a crag at the foot of the mountain, with climbing routes of all levels of difficulty.
Trails, trails and more trails
If you are looking for an exciting destination for your mountain bike tours, you have found it. Get ready for some punchy climbs along rock tracks and Alpine paths. The tour around Mt. Sass de Putia is partly on exposed and steep trails, but the view is worth the challenge. There are also more flowing options leading across the mountain pastures, for example on the Rodengo/Luson Alp or at high altitude above the village of San Martino in Badia. If a downhill thrill is what you are after, you can opt for the Bressanone Bikepark on Mt. Plose, or for Mt. Plan de Corones, where six freeride trails guarantee adrenaline-packed descents.
Highways to Heaven
The mountain roads wind their way up to the Passo delle Erbe pass in a feast of curves and hairpin bends. A motorbiker’s dream. But that’s just the beginning, for the Sella, Pordoi, and Falzarego passes are waiting ahead… legendary tours with the added benefits of wonderful views. Full of zip? Try the zip line
Imagine rushing downhill, harnessed to a rope suspended over dense treetops. If that sounds like your cup of tea, don’t miss the zip line in San Vigilio, a 3.2 km long, adrenaline-packed adventure. The longest zip line in Europe, it rewards the brave with an elating sense of weightlessness.
